Governor Bill Ritter, Jr. has designated October 18 - 24, 2009 "Winter Weather Preparedness Week," marking the annual campaign by Colorado, the National Weather Service, the Rocky Mountain Insurance Information Association, and emergency managers around Colorado
to promote winter weather safety.
